Editorial policy and corrections
FindMyIP Team is our collective editorial byline. We link technical standards, official documentation and public advisories beside the claims they support. Illustrative examples are labeled; a source reference is not a claim that we independently tested a product.
Substantive corrections carry an updated date. A public-IP comparison describes that web request; it does not certify every app, DNS path or VPN setting. News about a vulnerability is dated and points to the vendor’s current guidance.
Product evidence
Our current guides explain networking and privacy; they are not hands-on VPN rankings. We have not published comparative VPN test results.
A future product evaluation must identify its test date, device, software version, settings and method. It must separate our observations from vendor claims and explain limitations, drawbacks and who may not need the product. An independent audit applies to its stated scope and date, not every later version.
