Who operates this service

FindMyIP.net provides FindMyIP.net.

Data needed to run the tools

Our server receives your public IP address, requested URL, and normal HTTP request information to serve the site. The homepage and ISP tool use your public IP for an approximate location and network-owner lookup. Other tools process the IP address or domain you submit.

We send public IP lookup targets to GeoJS over HTTPS. DNS and blocklist queries go through our hosting provider’s DNS resolver; WHOIS queries go to the relevant public RDAP registry. These services receive the lookup target and our server’s connection information. Do not submit confidential information.

We process these requests to provide the tool you use and protect the service against abuse. Rate-limit counters use hashed address identifiers held temporarily in server memory. Application errors do not intentionally log IP lookup targets or WHOIS responses.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics load only after you select Accept analytics. All tools work when you reject or leave the banner unanswered. Consent is the basis for this optional processing.

After acceptance, these providers may process page visits, browser and device information, and connection information under their own privacy terms. Google Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies. Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page URLs our analytics integration sends, and disable Google advertising signals.

Select Privacy settings, available on every page, to change your choice. Rejecting stops future analytics events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. It cannot recall data already transmitted.

Browser storage and retention

The cookie-consent preference is stored in local storage for up to one year, after which we ask again. It records your choice, its time, and the policy version; it is not a tracking identifier. If storage is unavailable, your choice lasts for the current page session.

Public geolocation responses may be cached on our server for one hour. Rate-limit windows last five minutes; expired entries are removed during subsequent requests. Speed-test payloads are random data and discarded after transfer. We do not maintain a user account or a saved lookup history.

Hosting logs and provider-side analytics retention follow the hosting or analytics account settings and their policies. Clearing browser storage does not delete provider-held records.

Service providers and international processing

Providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Their privacy information describes their processing and transfer arrangements:

• GeoJS privacy policy — public IP geolocation, using MaxMind GeoLite data.
• Vercel privacy policy — hosting and optional Web Analytics.
• Google privacy policy — optional Google Analytics.
• SpamCop — the IPv4 email blocklist checked by our blacklist tool.

Links and promotions

We do not load advertising scripts. If a configured VPN affiliate link is shown, it is labelled and only takes you to that provider when clicked. The destination has its own privacy terms. Fonts are served with the application.

Your choices and requests

You can use every tool without optional analytics, withdraw consent at any time, and clear local browser storage. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, object to processing, or complain to your data-protection authority.
