Using the tools

FindMyIP.net provides network information and diagnostic tools for lawful use. Do not use the service to harass others, evade access controls, overload networks, or violate another service’s terms. Automated use must respect our rate limits. We may restrict abusive traffic to keep the tools available.

What results mean

IP locations are approximate and network ownership can differ from the company that bills you for internet access. Geolocation does not establish a person’s identity or exact address. Our data source does not provide VPN or proxy detection.

DNS and WHOIS/RDAP results reflect third-party records that may be incomplete or outdated. Blacklist checks cover only the named source and time; an unlisted address is not a guarantee of safety. A speed test measures a short transfer to this website, with server load and network overhead included, rather than a guaranteed ISP maximum.

Availability and responsibility

The service and third-party data are provided as available, without a promise of continuous uptime or complete accuracy. Independently verify results before making important decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy and external services

Our privacy policy explains the information processed to run each tool and your analytics choices. External services and affiliate destinations have their own terms. Any affiliate promotion is labelled; a commission does not establish that a product is suitable for your needs.
